Tanya George was born in Lockney, Texas. Tanya was born with a love of all types of books, reading anything she could get her hands on when she was younger. She loved making her own stories in her head, losing herself in either pages in a book or stories she would create in her head.

She met her husband when she was seventeen. They built a life and a family together. Together, they have three kids, one dog, and a cat named Hotdog that their youngest rescued and named.

Tanya and her family currently live in a small town in the Texas Panhandle where she works full time and writes when she can.
